Writer's block
Gets you nowhere
When you think
And nothing comes
Some say
Don't force it
But when
The poetry's gone
What's left
Is what you say
Because that's real
That's your core
Forget verses
Forget structure
Forget rhyming
Just write
How you feel
In broken words
Fragmented
Sentences
Because underneath
You're only
A human being
Just like me.
