Depression. An acrostic.

Down in the dumps doesn't begin to cut it,
Every day is darker than the last.
Plagued by thoughts telling you to kick the bucket,
Rejected by men who can't see beyond your past.
Each moment- harder to cling onto reality,
So tired, cannot move; comatose.
Searching for something, desperate to retain your sanity,
Incapable of living, life is an overdose.
Only way out is down, all around is black.
Never waking up, never coming back.
